After much headaches and debugging of random nitpicks I had with my site code I’ve finally got most adjustments functioning and have added my Scribe page. These writings will be quite random with no real chronology. I have always been bad with keeping track of dates/years when it comes to jotting things down. I am aiming for more of a compilation since I have several filled books but not enough spare time to type them all out at once.

This is a prelude to a packet I’ve been preparing for my “scribe” page. I have an assortment of writings new and old that I’ll be adding. Occassionally I will also attach some written verses with my work in certain cases where one may have inspired the other in some small way. This is not meant to define or illustrate a piece but more as a way to loosely interpret my own personal view.

Just finished a long overdue Castlevania themed work. I’ve been a huge fan of the series ever since it was first established and when I was approached with a commission for a custom job based on the series I couldn’t help but feel nostalgia and excitement. If I hadn’t already made this one for someone I would’ve had to make it for myself. Some of the most intriguing and fun 2d side scrollers you’ll ever find. I still get psyched every time I see a new one announced.

Assiduous

I’m currently focused on a new business venture in the tech industry which has been consuming a large amount of my time. I’ve got a few updates to add and a couple joysticks to finish out the current order list. Afterwards it looks as if most of my creations will be on pause until I decide on relocation because being far away from the shop and studio makes things more cumbersome than I’d care to admit.

At Last

It’s up!!! Well most of it anyway. There’s not much more I can do remotely since I built everything on my laptop with the piks I had available but I’ll have more files to upload from my pc when I return home in a couple weeks. I’m planning yet another page with stuff for this site and I would like to finish up another unique joystick I’ve been working on for awhile now. Be ready Mr. Stokes!!!

Transitions….

So I had this site up and running flawlessly on my MacbookPro as a local setup, but unfortunately as I’m still learning this new software I ended up with a transfer full of broken links when I moved it to my server. I knew what I did wrong after it was too late. If only it could’ve been smoother, but at any rate I have everything ready to go. This was my first go at making a site in wordpress, normally I use dreamweaver but it turned out to be a very welcome change. I just need to manually patch things up and it will be back to its slickness in no time. I had fun with the remodeling and I hope you all find it easier to navigate from my last one. Enjoy!

Greetings Everyone

I am Byrdo, an artist among most other things. This will be my new website/blog/business/portfolio. As vague as that may be its hard to pin everything down in one post so I would rather let those interested browse and find out “who” I am for themselves. I’m going to continue incorporating several features as time passes to keep things informative and interesting. I’m still working on converting more media to add here but so far I’ve managed to include quite a few upgraded images. I’m also introducing a new reviews and video section. These aren’t defined by anything other than random interests so posts won’t always be in relation to each other, but I’m always welcome to comments.
